This Sunday: June 19th

 Hello Church Family!

This week Cherry Festival was upon this week! Some people love Cherry Festival and some people hate it.  Last week it was Eagle's rodeo. Is there a place for small town America anymore... a community throwing a party and inviting the small towns around it to come? What role does the community itself play in this?

The Quilt Show invaded our church building this week... bringing the Cherry Festival in our doors. It was nice to see so many people gathered in our halls and spending a moment together... people who don't normally attend here. Conversation and laughter filled the building. Whether we personally were involved, our building played a major role in the festivities.

Is it good to share our facilities? For our community to feel comfortable within our doors? Even if it is not one of "our" events? To know where we are located? To see us as part of the community? Lots of good questions.

It takes lots of hands and even money to take care of our facilities and grounds... and we are blessed with so much! So many different people show up without fanfare and clean and weed and mow and maintain. Thanks to the many who help allow us to share our facilities with others. And there is always room for more helpers!

Service Focus this Sunday:

Father's Day Celebration! Invite your dads to church... or dads invite your families! We will have a time in the service to honor our dads as well as a gift for them to enjoy.

We will also start a new sermon series called Know It All: What Happens When You Don't

. Sometimes in life we come into a situation when we thought we knew it all... and then we discover that we don't. In our four-week series, we will meet four individuals in the Bible who felt like they knew it all. We will discover how our attitudes in those cases will either work against us or cause us to move closer to Christ. What might God be saying to you?

Join us Sunday at 10:30am either onsite or online! The link to the online service is on our website at (www.emmettnaz.org) and click on the Link to the Service.
