Family Fan Nights Begin! (Update for August 28)

 Hello Church Family!

Believe it or not, school is in session and sports are beginning... the fall season is on its way!
Tonight is our first Family Fan Night. As a church family, we like to pick a game per week (sometimes two) that we designate as the one that we will all try to show up to. It is easier and more fun to go to a game as a group and cheer on our kids and teens together.

Tonight is the first Emmett High School football game. They are playing against Blackfoot. The frosh team plays at the Middle School at 4pm and the JV plays at the high school at the same time.

Then following their games, somewhere around 6pm, the varsity will play at the high school. Aubrie will be cheering so keep your eyes open for her. When you get there, look around a bit and see if you can find someone from your church family. It's going to be hot so be prepared!

If you have kids and/or teens who are involved in a sport or other activity, please send their  schedules into James so we can start choosing Fan Nights and try to distribute the rest out to everyone as well. His email is jdymoke@emmettnaz.com. Let's have some great times together as we cheer on our kids!

This Sunday, we are in the final week of a sermon series called Retold: Sunday School Stories You Thought You Knew.   This week we move into the New Testament and focus on the story of Zacchaeus. What might God be saying to you?

Thank you again for being such a great church family! I look forward to seeing you all for worship Sunday!Blessings!
Pastor Brian
