Having the Same Mind - Update for February 19th

Hello Church Family!

I hope you have had a good week... and have thought some more about gentleness and how to live more into it! This week we dive into Philippians chapters 1 and 2. Philippians is written to a church that has encountered some turbulence from outside the church. Within that context, Paul calls them to have the same mind as each other... to focus on the same thing together... as they all have the same mind as Christ... focusing on what Christ Jesus had His mind on.

If you had to focus on one thing as you went through difficult times, what would it be? This actually reminds of the movie City Slickers when the rough and tough cowboy Curly talked about how the most important thing in life was to focus on the one thing. Now I imagine that what Paul had in mind was not the same "one thing" that Curly had in mind, but what would you choose? What would Paul have you choose? Tomorrow we will find out! 😄 (Sorry for the cliffhanger!)
