End of the Year! Update for March 19th

Hello Church Family!

Did you survive St. Patrick's Day without a pinch? Apparently, according to Google, wearing green on St. Patrick's Day makes you invisible to leprechauns. And leprechauns love to pinch people! So what I gather from that is that if you pinch people who don't wear green, you must be a leprechaun!

Whether you know it or not, our local church year ends at the end of February. This means that I had the opportunity to fill out a bunch of reports this last week. Here is some more trivia for you... this time in the form of Emmett Nazarene Church information.

1. Many people have asked for a total from the Missions Auction. I have heard the number $3803. Whether it is that amount or not (I've also heard it was more), you all did an amazing job raising money for the Teen Mission Trip and the Compassion Center in Cactus, Texas! Praise the Lord!

2. I have not heard the total yet for our Faith Promise. I'll update you when I find out. If you still need to fill out a card, you can find one online here. I think the goal was around $15,000. By the way, last year we gave $21,529.52 to World Missions in one form or another! Praise the Lord!

3. Our averages for the last church year: 146 people in worship in person, 122 people in worship online, 195 people in small groups (which some of you attend more than one group so maybe closer to 155?), from our best count we had 129 different people serving in some capacity or another, and total active attenders: 430. Praise the Lord!

4. We successfully elected our new board and delegates to District Assembly and Missions Convention. Board Members: Tim Bean, Ken Moore, Jeannie Taylor Furman, Wayne Gleim, Richlyn Smith, Jacquelyn Capen, Bill Moore, Mike Little, and Tracy Sullivan. District Assembly: James Dymoke, Marvin Webb, Tim Kennedy, and Dennis Petersen. Missions Convention: Eleaner Aubrey, Wendy Knight, Doug Severance, Wayne Gleim, and Sarah Kennedy.

I think that is probably enough information for now. Overall, God has been so good to us! We are loving our loving church family and the many new faces we see jumping in!
